Camaiore, a 25-minute drive away, is known for the beauty of its landscapes as well as the abbey, the Santo Stefano parish, the minster of Santa Maria Assunta, Teatro dell’Olivo, and Villa Borbone delle Pianore.
In about half an hour, you can go to the beautiful city of Lucca with its Renaissance-era city walls. Pisa, with its famous leaning tower, the symbol of the city, is also just a half-hour’s drive away. Here, you can also enjoy the Romanesque cathedral and adjacent square, the 12th century bell tower, Piazza dei Cavalieri, the Borgo Stretto district, the Lungarni, and art works of inestimable value.
